Why are adoptions by application only? 

At our organization, we prioritize the well-being of our animals and their future families. This is why we conduct adoptions through an approved application process, ensuring that each match is the best fit possible. Our goal is to set both the animal and new family up for success, fostering a harmonious relationship. We do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis as we believe compatibility is key to a lasting bond.

Why we don't have a phone number 

Thank you for reaching out! As a volunteer-run organization, we currently do not have the capacity to take phone calls or text messages. Adoption Fees 

Cat/kitten adoption fees are $140

Mixed breed dog/puppy adoption fees are $275 

Full blooded dog adoptions are $500

Please note that some fees may vary, and prices are subjective to change. 

Each animal is spayed/neutered, started on vaccines, microchipped dewormed, vet exam, and treated for anything else medically needed before adoption.

Hours of operation 

Join us for our open days, where you can meet our wonderful animals! We host these special events 2-3 times a month on Fridays and Saturdays, and the dates will be posted on our Facebook page. Upcoming open dates include 3/1/25, 3/21/25, 4/5/25 and 4/25/25. Please note that dates may based on volunteer availability, so if there's a specific animal you'd like to meet, feel free to reach out to us!

What areas we help 

We are dedicated to helping as many people and animals in Central Indiana, so we are not specific in one area. Our mission includes pulling from shelters, accepting owner surrenders, and rescuing strays. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a loving home, and we strive to make a difference in our community. Join in our efforts to provide support and care for those in need!

Who we are 

Welcome to Mango's Miracles! Founded in June 2022, we are a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue located in central Indiana. Our facility, at 6230 W Kilgore, serves as a space for meet and greets, donation storage, and fundraising events, while we predominantly operate as a foster-based rescue, caring for 6-8 cats at our center.
